Looking for a gunsmith that can install a rear tang on a Volquarsten summit receiver and properly inlet/bed a McMillan stock for it. Thanks in advance!
Looking for any and all input for lens replacement options. I’ve been cursed with an astigmatism and near vision all my life and now cataracts at 45yo. (Normally wear soft contacts). There are so many IOL options now that it’s made the decision of which lens to go with very confusing...
Another vote for ADG, it’s tough shit. Primer pockets last forever even with hot loads. I believe they guarantee the primer pockets for a certain number of reloads. Neck thickness has been very consistent, like Lapua consistent.
The 300wm mag brass seems to be really tough. Have only measured necks, OAL, weighed a handful with good reault. Haven’t ran Peterson myself but have pushed 215s from adg to 3100. Cant remember how many firing but it’s north of 5 and pockets are still good to go.
If I were you I would wait for adg to come out with theirs. Their 300 win mag brass has proven to be on par with Lapua both in quality and just plain tough shit.
Definitely want to pack the spotter. I’ve hunted auodad in SW Oklahoma many times and had the best luck finding mature rams by just climbing to the tallest peak and glassing opposing terrain where the wind is blocked. There’s some big country in SW Oklahoma but not many properties offer enough...
I have a 300Norma PT&G finish reamer with go gauge for sale. It was purchased from Grizzly and only chambered 1 barrel. See link for dimensions. $220 shipped conus https://www.grizzly.com/products/Pacific-Tool-Gauge-300-Norma-Chambering-Finish-Reamer/T23220
It appears the inlet shank diameter would be .050” larger than your Sendero contour but the barrel channel would require some inletting to open it up to accommodate the Sendero contour.

The sleeve coming loose is a pain in the dick, solved the problem with a bit of Rocksett each time which I use on the direct threads as well, problem went away. Have read stories about the stack issues but makes me wonder if that wasn’t an issue with early omegas. There’s guys running cans...
