Yet Another "Recommended Muzzle Brake" Question

I agree! I use one as does another guy on our team and we both love them. The people right next to us at various trainings however HATE them.

Best long sleeve hot weather shirts

I picked up a few of the Massif Combat Shirts. I checked out the Crye Precision ones too, but they were a bit pricy to buy out of pocket. I also came across XGO, does anyone have any experience with them? I talked to a rep and they recommended the 1G11A version.

Thanks, looks like I'll be picking up some of the PFG line of shirts. Great reviews.

Best long sleeve hot weather shirts

I just finished sniper school and wore BDU type tops and while they worked they didn't wick moisture and don't allow for much airflow. I have advanced SWAT at the end of July and want something better. It's a bit warm here in central Texas.

First range trip with the new rifle

Try putting the legs of the bipod in the dirt in front of the concrete or string some 550 cord between the benches and load into that.

Best long sleeve hot weather shirts

I need some good options for long sleeve hot weather shirts for long hours of training in the sun in high temps. Prefer moisture wicking, UV protective, and durable.

First range trip with the new rifle

Nice looking rifle Ben. Did you shoot the groups off of the bench or prone?

    shooting for groups...

Jipper, I was thinking of trying something similar to this in shooting 5 separate, but Identicle targets with one shot each and overlaying them to see what I get. Figured this may give me some insight to see if I'm chasing holes.

    shooting for groups...

I do notice it is typically my second shot, but not 100% of the time. I'll try the shot with a dry fire in between and see what I get. Sterling, I do notice when I run back through the "fundamentals" in my head, I settle back in and am right back on target for the remainder of the shot group.

    shooting for groups...

A little back story, I am on the Special Response Team for my agency and my firearms experience is CQB consisting of pistol and AR platform, but all CQB. recently a few positions opened in the Marksman "sniper" unit. I was chosen for one of the positions. I've been training for about two months...

Got them timed today, only shot with the one from Nathan so far. Very nice, accomplished what I wanted. I got rezero'd and was shooting nice tight groups and could watch the bullet impact. Very nice!

I'm going to drill out and test the ones I bought from Nathan as well. They look nice as well, and are probably very effect too. Although I will stick to ordering from Ross in the future as I had a much better experience with him. They are both getting timed and installed tomorrow. I hope to...

Yes, Although, the first time I ordered I didn't actually order from Ross, I had ordered from Nathan and thought I was ordering from Ross. I had specified .308 (via email conversations), but was sent .240" exit hole. After receiving them I went back and read the website and read that Nathan...

I was told by a smith friend of mine he could use an "R" bit or 21/64" bit to "ream" it out. I imagine that would work, but not sure if it would open up other issues.

Were you able to send them back? I sent an email to Nathan, but with it being the weekend I figure I won't hear anything until tomorrow.
