    What M4 to buy?

With Colt 6920s going for less than $1000, it would be an easy choice for me. Check out Bud's guns. They have free shipping.

    Noveske quality.

There is a thread on another forum that has multiple examples of lower receivers that were sold as first quality at $250 and have numerous manufacturing defects. Supposedly, Noveske is making it right.

BAD BATCH of Compass Lake spun Kriegers

Wait, don't tell me that you think we should all be able to find out who really makes the various components in our AR 15s. Those rollmarks cost $$$ :)

Battleline Industries SAPR stock attachment on Magpul STR stock

For any of you running a SAPR on a Magpul stock, can you tell me the length of pull with the stock set at the closest forward position that still allows you to run the charging handle without rotating the cheek rest? A photo of the stock in that same position would be greatly appreciated.

anyone have MK262 (77 SMK) drop table

I know this is an old thread but the info is good. The Black Hills commercial Mk 262 has been available for a while now so I'm hoping to extend this conversation because a lot of you may have familiarity with it now. I finally have a new range where we can shoot to 500 yards. All shooters have...

    Drank the Geissle Kool-Aid Finally

The ssa is the semi-auto version of the ssf, which is the full auto trigger that replaced the KAC two stage in the SPR project. I would hardly call the ssa lower tier. It is non-adjustable, unlike the NM triggers, which makes it more suitable for a duty rifle.

    Help with AR scope mount

ADM 30 mm Recon on an LMT .308 was perfect for me heightwise.

    Help with AR scope mount

Scope mounts for ARs often mount the scope at 1.5", because that generally is the correct height for a scope on an AR 15. I have a SB Short Dot in a Larue SPR-E that I shoot nose to charging handle and the height is perfect. I had a USO 2.5-10X in an ADM Recon on an LMT MWS, and the height was...

Show your new for 2014 AR!

Well the upper is newly built. DD receiver, WOA 18" SPR rifle length, 1:7, Ranier Match lo pro gas block, Troy Alpha 13", DD BCG, Gunfighter medium CH. The lower is an LMT I already had, but I did install a Geissele DMR in it just for this upper build.

    ALG Defense triggers

No emotion, just trying to see if my statement caused confusion. The comments about the ALG and mil spec triggers are valid. It is a part sourced from a mil spec supplier and re worked/refinished by Geissele. As you point out, the Geissele two stage triggers are totally different and I don't see...

    ALG Defense triggers

Who said it isn't? I mentioned two ALG triggers, as in the two models they sell. Are you referring to that or something else?

    My last AR15 build ...700 yards with a 5.56

It will be heavy, that is for sure. My build with a WOA 18" SPR barrel weighs 10 lbs. 13 oz. and my stock and optic (MOE, Leupold MK 6 3-18, and ADM Recon mount) are all lighter than what you will be running.

does anyone sell AR15 lower recievers with KNS anti walk pins and a Gieselle SSA already

When Geissele says very clearly not to use KNS pins with their triggers (which he does), folks should listen. Having just installed a Geissele DMR in an LMT lower (that I removed KNS pins and a factory trigger from to install the DMR), I can definitely say that the Geissele pin fit to trigger...

    Confused with zero @ 100

Whatever you say it is. OP, are you clear on why your inch high at 50 yard zero hits 6" high at 100?

    OK, you win.

    Confused with zero @ 100

It seems the OP's original question has been totally lost in the debate of the 100 yard zero, +/-, touching the line of sight once, or twice. The OP zeroed an inch high at 50 and wanted to know why his zero hits 6" high at 100. The answer is that his bullet is rising and falling in an arc that...

    Lightweight SPR style AR-15

It is rifle length, and left raw SS. I plan to take it out for the first time Friday to function test with live ammo and to zero. I may change out the Magpul MOE stock; it doesn't lock rock solid. I have a CTR on another rifle I can swap, but will shoot with the MOE first.

Dumb question; having a lower on double duty for carbine and SPR

The only real question I have is about the trigger in the lower. Is it a two stage trigger that is set light for your MK 12, and if so, is it suitable for what you are doing with the carbine? You won't hurt the lower by moving it around between uppers. I did the same thing recently, but in the...
