Night Vision New FLIR -The RS Dedicated Thermal Weapon Scope- 60mm units just arrived!

Thanks both of these look like good options. Ideally, I think I want everything contained to the rifle, out of the way, out of mind and always at the ready capturing where I can focus on walking up, taking the shot and worry about editing later. We mostly go to the hogs instead of them coming to...

Night Vision New FLIR -The RS Dedicated Thermal Weapon Scope- 60mm units just arrived!

This worked great. Taped some handwarmers to the back of some targets and was dialed in pretty quick. This RS sits really low on that LaRue mount which required me to remove the irons on my 716 which is fine. I like my optics as low as possible.

Night Vision New FLIR -The RS Dedicated Thermal Weapon Scope- 60mm units just arrived!

Hi Vic Thanks I finally saw that in the owners manual. Got a bad habit of playing first and reading later. When I get my cable, what do you recommend for video recording / storage?

Night Vision New FLIR -The RS Dedicated Thermal Weapon Scope- 60mm units just arrived!

Just got my RS32B 2 - 9x with 35 mm lense in 60hz from the good folks at TNVC. Very impressed with the robust construction and clear image. One quirk: it makes a weird barely audible sound every few seconds. Maybe that has to do with refreshing. Not sure. I already like this unit better than...

Night Vision TNVC Announces the WASP NV Clip-On Device

Thanks Victor I actually just got off the phone with Chip and ordered a FLIR R with the 35mm lense and 60 hz refresh rate. AND....I'm in for the L3 tubed WASP. I'll wait as long as it takes because I know it's going to be right when you guys release it. Chip lined me out on everything. Sorry...

Night Vision New FLIR -The RS Dedicated Thermal Weapon Scope- 60mm units just arrived!

Thanks Victor I actually just got off the phone with Chip and ordered one with the 35mm lense and 60 hz refresh rate. Also I'm in for the L3 tubed WASP. I'll wait as long as it takes because I know it's going to be right when you guys release it. Not that I haven't been thinning them out...

Night Vision New FLIR -The RS Dedicated Thermal Weapon Scope- 60mm units just arrived!

Questions about RS32 From the FLIR RS 32 description: (SRS-M™) is qualified for a MSR semi-automatic platform, up to .30 Cal. What does MSR stand for? Can I turn the reticle off for hand held viewing? Can it be clipped on as well as stand alone? What is the technology difference...

Night Vision TNVC Announces the WASP NV Clip-On Device

Vic I know that this is a little off topic but I just noticed the FLIR RS32 on your sight. Couple of quick questions: What does MSR stand for when referencing semi auto platform up to .30 cal? Can I turn off the cross hairs? Thx

Night Vision TNVC Announces the WASP NV Clip-On Device

Yup I've been patiently waiting since shot show 2013 for this one because of TNVCs reputation for quality and the price point but I'm now officially alarmed given that no mention was made of this unit at shot 2014. How depressing that I'm actually considering ATN again. I'm considering that new...

    LaRue Products and Customer Service.

Quick backstory: After a 30 year run of fooling with the M1A/M14/M25 platform in every combination of furniture, barrels and parts imaginable in so many rifles and to the tune of so many tens of thousands of dollars that I've lost count and after always getting out MOA'd by my buddies with...

Night Vision TNVC Announces the WASP NV Clip-On Device

Re: TNVC Announces the WASP NV Clip-On Device And to think I almost bought the ATN PS22 3P for the same $ This is the game changer in the war on pigs. 2013 will be a record year for swine KIAs in SO TX. No more fumbling around with the PVS 14

Night Vision TNVC Announces the WASP NV Clip-On Device

Re: TNVC Announces the WASP NV Clip-On Device I'm in. I'm calling Monday morning. I've got to have one!! I want one with the Litton tube. Can anybody give me a decent recommendation for optics behind the Wasp on a SIG 716 Patrol rifle. Real Estate is a little limited. What would you're...

Rifle Scopes New Gen 3 TNVC Wasp need a good optics match

Re: New Gen 3 TNVC Wasp need a good optics match I was wondering more about compatability in terms of best objective size (heard to big loses efficiency), magnification (is there no point in powers above 6x with NV?) and 1X COGS (can you run a clip on in front of a EoTech 552 or Trij SRS?)

Rifle Scopes New Gen 3 TNVC Wasp need a good optics match

Re: New Gen 3 TNVC Wasp need a good optics match Agreed I'm thankful for the honesty of that one employee Linda. She saved me a lot of grief but I'm reading too many negative posts on the net about ATN. I'm relatively happy with my PVS 14 3P. Time will tell on it. I'm new to NV so...

Rifle Scopes New Gen 3 TNVC Wasp need a good optics match

First let me just say hello as I'm a newbie to this forum. Quick backstory: I had an alarming conversation with the folks at ATN in San Francisco this Friday that stemmed out of a warranty issue on a PVS 14 3P I sent them for I considered to be too many little black spots in the instensifier...
