I have a 25-06 in a M700. I thought maybe the .240 would be better for ultra long range shooting because of the better BC bullets that are available. if you think the 25-06 would do just as well that would be nice. i am already well prepared to load for the 25-06.- bkknupp

Does anyone have any experience in loading the .240 WB for extreme long range target shooting. I know its a burner and the brass is costly , but outside of that can it get the job done. How would it compare to the 6mm-06 and the 6.5 -06 ? Thanks in advance.- bkknupp
