I suggest getting the Big dog steel spigot mount along with the Harris mount that you can get with it. You can keep you Harris but have it much further out, and get rid of that feeling that it's not stable enough where the original mount is. Link to big dog steel: Gen II AI Spigot Rail System
I have both the atlas bipod with the spigot and the big dog steel spigot with an LRA f-class bipod on the way. With my 30" barrel I had the same issues you did.
The part in question is the small piece in front of the trigger inlet in my LA AICS. Should be an image attached, just curious as to what this is as it's not in my short action version. (Shown closest to me in photo). Any help identifying it and it's use greatly appreciated. Regards Nut
Thanks, I'll send an email off to Stiller to ask them what they would consider the limit to the LA Spectre Action. Hopefully will get a reply sooner rather then later.
Thanks for the suggestions guys. I am leaning towards a long and heavy barrel, something along the line of a 30" heavy profile (eg. no17 Kreiger that was suggested). I want it as heavy as possible to reduce as much recoil as possible, unfortunately a brake is not on the cards due to f...
G'Day guys, I'm a little bit of a lurker on these forums, however don't get me wrong I get a lot of very useful information and enjoyment at everyone showing off their own rifles. At present I am putting together a 300wm using a Stiller Spectre Action, Jewell trigger, in an AICS. Pretty...
G'day all, Though i would finally introduce myself, been a lurker on here for a while, and decided i would start to become a little more active. Currently living the the NT, Aus, loving it, great lifestyle. However being 'new' i havent been able to make the contacts necessary for hunting...
You quite possibly are cutting off blood supply to an extent in your arm. causing the tingling. or you may be compressing a nerve in your arm at a contact point with the rifle or your elbow on the ground. using something to cushion this can relieve that, however it is a blood supply issue, a...
Accuracy International AW Quick Adjust Butt Pad (Rifle Option) - EuroOptic.com Is this something like what you are after? Also I have a question, would the item in the above link be able to be fitted a new AICS?
I like the looks of the AI style over the viperskins, never handled either though. But I want to change up the thumbhole of mine. Where abouts would I be able to get some AI pistol grip stock sides? Being in Aus my options are somewhat limited locally, somewhere that would ship here would be ideal.
I bought these of the fellas at AIA about 6 months ago. There are a few on sale at usedguns.com.au , however unsure on the process of getting them exported/imported. These rifles are not sold unless they pass an accuracy test. Must be sub moa when tested, if it doesn't it is worked on until...
Here's something you wouldn't see a lot of. My pride and joy, and built like a brick shithouse! And of course an upcoming project with the AICS and a pierce action. to be continued... ;)
