    6.8SPC vs 6.5 Grendal - help me decide my next build

    you have the basics down. if i remember right the grendel gets the advantage after 300 yards. I have owned both, but i sold the 6.8 so i could build a grendel, since it seems like it has more bullet choices for reloading vs. the 6.8( has to use short bullets)

    Fieldcraft 1000 yard competition cartridges... Are they man killers? effective range? Practicality?

    unless your trying to defeat body armor, i think most would work as long as they are supersonic. a 9mm with a 115 grain bullet has a velocity around 1200 at the muzzle and it kills. i'm not an expert though so this is just speculation.
