My 142smk .260 load is very similar to Fly_True's: 43.6 H4350 in Lapua brass at 2850fps from an AIAE with a Bartlein 24". It's sub 1/3moa

My current favorite is the MSR

A spotting scope and a 1-6x optic will do what you need. There are lots of great options out there but only a few that also provide a daylight visible 1x red dot. I'm very happy with the Leupold Mk 6 1-6.

No problem for the suppressor. Water in the chamber can cause high pressure though. I've ruined some Lapua brass at rainy matches.

I just picked up a Leupold Mk6 1-6x 20 with the CMRW reticle for a new 18" AR15 build. I'm very impressed. The glass is excellent, and I had no problem hitting a 12" plate at 600yds at 6x.
