Ruger Super Black Hawk Hunter with a Leupold 4X stainless scope on it. Back then I traded it for a NIB Leupold MK4 scope and MK4 rings that I wanted for a rifle that I had. Even though (at that time) the scope was probably worth twice as much as the pistol, I still wish I would have kept it.
Springfield Armory's SAR-8 (their version of an HK91). The one I got had the welded on scope rail on the upper receiver and the finish was horrible. Never shot it, sold it within a week of getting it. Definitely a case of not seeing a firearm in person first and just ordering one.
I've sold a few guns and gun accessories. The gun fund is up there. During the pandemic I've bought a Bergara B-14 HMR 300 WM rifle, a S&W 686 Performance Center .357 revolver, built a AR15 pistol, and bought my son a Glock 43X that he'll be getting for Christmas. Bought quite a few gun...
Imacad, hopefully this is what you were looking for (if not, let me know). It was kind of difficult to hold it with one hand, take the pic with the other and have the dot in focus:). I sent the RMR into Trijicon prior to putting up for sale, just to make sure that everything was working the way...
FS: Trijicon RMR Dual Illuminated Reflex Sight 9.0 MOA Amber Dot with LaRue LT726 QD Mount. Sight and mount are in very good to excellent condition. No box or paperwork. $425.00 shipped. Reduced 12/6/20: $375.00 Shipped
To echo what has already been mentioned, I think a Ruger Wrangler or the slightly smaller framed Ruger Bearcat, would work great for what your wanting.
Wilson Combat. I don't have any of their 6.5 Grendel barrels but I do have a couple of their 5.56 and 1 .308 barrel, which have been great. I don't think you'll go wrong with one of theirs, regardless of length you choose.
Having read the book and seeing the movie, the falling down/jumping off the sides of the mountain were insane. I'm not saying it didn't happen, but I would have thought there would have been nothing but a bunch of broken bones on the guys that that happened to.
How'd you like the owner always taking a helicopter to go see someone's private collection that he was thinking about buying (at least in the few episodes I watched)?
OP, was this a private sale or did you buy from a gun shop? I bought a used S&W R8 revolver from Scheels. When I shot it, it had light primer strikes on 5 rounds out of 20 (on average). Scheels sent it in to S&W and they ended up replacing the entire frame. Other than the amount of time it took...
I especially like when showing the credits they showed the guys that the movie was based on and some of the things they did while trying to TAG each other.
