308 reloads specific to the REM700 AAC-SD

Proper seating of brake Got it indexed correct however; there is still a gap between the end of the barrel and the flat mating surface of the brake. New muzzle brake
well I ground down the crush washer problem is, now its on there for good unless I take it to a smith. The only option I have to to grind down the brake so that it will be at 90 degree angle up and down. Good thing is the brake was $35 so im not too worried about messing it up.- McDirty33

New muzzle brake
I just bought a new muzzle brake for my Remington 700 AAC-SD 308. As you can see from the pic it's not seating all the way. I have a crush washer but if I use it, it looks like there is a gap inside the brake between the crown and the mating surface of the brake. What should I do? I don't want...- McDirty33
