    I actually called Barrett about the 27" barrel, and they told me that "ohh they've been on the site" (I checked it yesterday and nothing new was there) And out of nowhere they appeared. Then disappeared 24 hours later. And no just for .338.

    They finally released different length barrels (20, 24.5 and 27") for like 1100 bucks. They removed them after 2 days after they sent me an email saying they were there.     Zeroing for a new .338lm

    From what i've gathered, 300gr Scenar Lapua or 250gr Hornaday BTHP is the best without breaking your bank. But by far 300gr is where you get the bang for your buck, anything below 250 at the range and you're wasting your time/money.

    MRAD Caliber conversion News!!!

    I emailed barrett a while back (after prob 5 emails with no response) and finally got an answer to the barrel question. They released (i'd say for 48 hours before they removed them for some reason) a 20", 24" and a 27" barrel each for $1100. And they told me Q1 of 2013 but I have yet to see...
