I'm considering auctioning a stripped AR lower that has been sitting around for years. I will of course send it to an FFL, but other than California are there other states or regions where I can not send it? NY, MD, MA, HI, IL, etc? Thanks!

I thought I had this bookmarked. I've tried all kinds of search terms, but can't find it. IIRC, it was on the Hide, so hopefully I'm not going insane. Someone posted about how the factory talked them through aligning the hash marks on an HDMR turret when they don't quite index correctly...

Re: Couple of questions about new 700 LTR Just a quick update. The LTR came back from Remington refinished. Not really much explanation on the work order, just a receiver that looks like it should. It took about 2 weeks after delivery to them. I'm happy with the results.

Re: Couple of questions about new 700 LTR Well, I contacted Remington. When I got some oil on it, it was really noticeable. It didn't seem to retain oil as well in the affected areas either. I wonder if the metal was contaminated before the Parkerizing process... More pics in better light...

I'm finally getting around to putting the replacement turrets on my Falcon Menace, and just wanted to know how tight to make the three set screws on each turret. I don't have access to a torque wrench, so would 1/4 turn after contact make sense? I'm assuming that they will mar the spindles, but...

Just checking: will the standard Badger rings (.823") work for a Rem 700 LTR, Falcon Menace 4-14x44 mm, and 20 MOA base? I don't have them in front of me (working out of town) and I'd like to order the Badgers. Thx!

Re: Looking to put some glass on a 10/22 Well, I bought a Falcon 4-14 × 44 FFP with SLR reticle and mil knobs. I read a few reviews online, and it seems to be good bang for the buck. Thanks for the heads up! I'll post some pics (and hopefully a review) when it arrives.
