I need a class because clearly I am doing it all wrong

Some people's kids. Glad to see I've clearly wasted all that time practicing my bolt manipulation without breaking my cheek weld.

Brownells has FGMM 300wm - sigh

Which Harris Bipod for Savage fcp-k ?

There's a lot of advantage to having the swivel on your bipod and several disadvantages to not having one. Get the swivel and don't look back.

    Alternatives to Butler Creek Caps........

Tenebraex. Spendy, but worth it. Nearly indestructable tough rubber, not plastic.

How do you know if you have a keeper or not...

I'm assuming you mean shooting off a bench and not NRA benchrest as that seems to be what you're saying. With a bone stock weapon, straight off the shelf you're looking for consistent 1" groups or less @ 100yds with match grade ammo with a proper string of fire for the barrel profile...

    Dry fire: Do and Don't?

I only own rifle caliber snap caps for feeding and function checks after doing some work on my rifle. Other than that, I've never used them for practice with my center fires or shotguns. For my rimfires I've always just used an empty case. I collect several while I'm shooting have them...

Maggie’s ever have one of those conversations...

Wow. Reminds me of a guy I knew back home who tried to convince me the army let him take home a mini-gun after his time as a SF operator that he now keeps in his apartment aimed at the door to scare off burglars.

Advanced Marksmanship crazy shots!!!! lets hear about them...

Not my shot, I so wish I could claim it, but, I had a hunting buddy years back named Tim. He couldn't hit the broad side of a barn from the inside with a scope but would make the damnedest shots with iron sights. One day, we're walking to our hunting spot and as we're crossing a cornfield he...
