So recently ordered a rcbs hand priming tool. Tool didnt work because the safety gate assembly was to short. Called rcbs and they are sending the right gate assembly free of charge. Its hard to find good customer service these days. Thumbs up to these guys. Will def be buying more rcbs gear.

New 5r has a stamp in the action were the bolt handle locks down when bolt is closed. Its a square with a bunch of dots. Havent ever noticed this befor how long have they been doin this. Gun I bought last year a rem 700 also has it just never noticed it cause its matte blued.

Finally got my 300 wm 5r in! Put what I could on it still waiting for my manners t6a should have it end of september. So far badger rings and base and mark 4 scope and left over bipod. Should be going to smith pretty quick for badger knob which I have just need a good smith. Almost ready to rage!

This is my first set of badger rings so maybe im missing something. They both seem to sit on the scope right but the top piece and bottom piece dont seem to have the same diameter when the top and bottom are together. The top looks a little smaller. Only thing I could see that might make sense...

On a 300 wm will barrel length make a huge diff in accuracy if my 2 options are 24" and 26". The 24" already comes threaded so it would be cheaper to add a break if I want one plus if I did add a break to the 26" model it would be a little long for my liking to pack for hunting. Rifle is a rem...
