Seeking Low Back Pressure .30cal Can (so many choices)

GS455 Well-known member Feedback:12 / 1 / 0 36ti's first impressions: I once shot a half dozen rounds from a buddy’s bolt gun with a popular can from 10 years ago. I think it was a Gen1 RPR. I was blown away with the amount of suppression and have been pining for one ever since. Beyond that I...

1st Suppressor / 1st Day Out (HUXWRX FLOW Range 36 Ti)

Had it out for a second time last weekend and remain amazed how tight groups are getting on the Rock River LAR 8 Elite Operator. I actually pulled off a 1", 5 shot group using 168 grain Federal Gold Medal Match. All these years I thought it was a 2+" gun. So either bare-muzzled or with the 36...

1st Suppressor / 1st Day Out (HUXWRX FLOW Range 36 Ti)

I once shot a half dozen rounds from a buddy’s bolt gun with a popular can from 10 years ago. I think it was a Gen1 RPR. I was blown away with the amount of suppression and have been pining for one ever since. Beyond that I have zero experience firing suppressed. A few months ago, I put out an...

What is ATF wait time for a suppressor?

Mid March I had one, individual, approved in 25 hours and 11 minutes Of course it took 20 minutes to roll my fingers over and over on the guy's scanner before we got good scans

Good Score Sunday (SR90 + ACOG)

Yea I didn't think it would be "right" just thought I'd throw it out there. I haven't had it out for a while and thought it had a threaded end with a cap but - no. It's a quality piece of "history". Will leave as is. ALTHOUGH I did get an HS Precision bottom metal with a couple 10rd mags...

Good Score Sunday (SR90 + ACOG)

So, I finally just got my 1st suppressor out of jail. Looking forward to a test drive on my RPR (.308) and RAR (x39). Would it be sacrilege to thread this Robar SR90 for a suppressor? Recent 168gr (not Sierra Match King) Fed Gold Medal Match.

Seeking Low Back Pressure .30cal Can (so many choices)

Another member advises: "The pitch is M15x1 RH on both the 7x57 and 8x57 barrels. The muzzle brake from the Venezuelan 7x57 fits on the 8x57 barrel in every respect just like it does on the 7x57 barrel."

RPR Barrel Threads (5/8x24 ???) To Suppressor

Impatient !!! Ended up cleaning, applying a little grease and slowly chased it on a bit at a time. Seems to have cut a skootch deeper valley in between the threads but they are still "proud" and don't look to be stripped.

RPR Barrel Threads (5/8x24 ???) To Suppressor

Yeah I probably have some other muzzle devices I can try. But it is a firm stop at a half turn

RPR Barrel Threads (5/8x24 ???) To Suppressor

Just tried to test fit a HUXWRX 5/8x24 direct thread adpter onto my Gen II RPR (in .308). Won't go a half turn. Tried it on my x39 RAR and fits beautifully. Can't find anything anywhere that indicates the barrel thread should be other than 5/8 x 24. I've got a note in to Ruger tech...

Seeking Low Back Pressure .30cal Can (so many choices)

Yep, that's the review that pushed me over the edge towards getting one. That and hoping to get it on a couple 8mm rifles (although probably dubious with the M76)

Seeking Low Back Pressure .30cal Can (so many choices)

In that case I'm guessing MAP price is probably $969 and Bereli may have had it mis-listed (to my benefit).

Seeking Low Back Pressure .30cal Can (so many choices)

Weeeeell, it was $850 for a few days and when I bought it yesterday. Now they're listing for $969. Maybe some web content guy posted the wrong price. https://www.bereli.com/flow-range-ti-36/

Seeking Low Back Pressure .30cal Can (so many choices)

I’ve just ordered the new HUXWRX FLOW Range 36 Ti with the hopes of getting it on my 8mm M76 and perhaps even my M49 in 8mm (among others). Unfortunately, I didn’t really give any thought on how to adapt it to these rifles. It comes with the universal Hub adapter but do you have any idea on...

Seeking Low Back Pressure .30cal Can (so many choices)

Terrific info folks, I appreciate it. all this info and reference. Since I embarked upon this inquiry I've been leaning towards a first suppressor for a couple bolt guns. So, a bifurcation. My thoughts are to : 1) get a "best" traditional "Can" to float between my two precision rifles, an...

Seeking Low Back Pressure .30cal Can (so many choices)

What drives me nuts about the suppressor market and it's accessories, muzzle devices, etc, is that I guess, because it's NFA they can get away with charging $234 for a little machined doohickey...... https://huxwrx.com/hub-qd-adapter-2-0/

Has anyone analyzed the data from “The Sound Summit 2024”. https://thunderbeastarms.com/sound/summit2024/#EXPERIMENTAL-SETUP I’m specifically interested in the tests on “.30 CALIBER SUPPRESSORS SHOOTING CARTRIDGE/HOST: .308-20BA” IOW 30 cal cans on .308 barrel. Which column represents the...
