What really intrigued us about the DD Mk12 is the CHF stainless steel barrel... Theoretically, due to the way CHF barrels are made, the accuracy should be outstanding. Time will tell, of course...

The G2 AP4 barrel nut will accept any AR15 rail that uses a standard AR15 barrel nut: - Daniel Defense Omega - Centurion Arms C4 - Samson Evolution - Troy Alpha I'm probably missing a few. Of course, you'd have to shave down the FSB but that is pretty easy to do.

The NSR KeyMods are great handguards... I like how the barrel nut has two sides so you can try both to get correct alignment within the torque spec range. Here's a 13.5" KeyMod on a 14.5" Sabre Defence gov't profile barrel.

The XTR IIs we played with had very nice tactile clicks and the glass was just fine with no discernable CA or field distortion. The FFP MIL reticle on the 4-20x was definitely usable at 4x and the illumination was even and contained to the reticle. Having a zero stop is also a nice feature...

We have a bunch of G2 AP4s coming in which will form the basis of some custom configurations... :) Of course, other G2 models also inbound!

If we were to offer GII AP4s (16" chrome lined barrel) with Centurion Arms C4 or Samson Evolution KeyMod handguards over a professionally cut down FSB, would there be any interest? How about Cerakote in colors like Burnt Bronze and Patriot Brown?

It looks like only the AP4 model has the "standard" AR15 barrel nut to which you can affix any AR15 handguard that uses a standard AR15 barrel nut (e.g. Centurion Arms, Midwest Industries, Samson, etc). The other models seem to feature the DPMS-specific freefloat handguard nut.
