Watch Out for Scammers!
We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!
You just have 762 spec FGMM. Non-polished brass, 762 case thicknesses... I believe Federal at least tries to make the chamber pressures the same between GMM 308 and 762, but your individual chamber dimensions will have a lot to say about that. I prefer shooting the 762GMM out of my AIAW over...
To elaborate: Loop the sling around your firing arm, use other arm to support against barricade/tripod/support. A quickly adjustable sling is almost a necessity when shooting any sort of kneeling/sitting/standing "unconventional" firing positions.
My vote: I am a fan of methods taught by Caylen Wojcik, as covered already. The loop to the belt creates AMAZING stability, and when seated supports your lower back well allowing to relax the hips into the rifle, great fatigue management. Angle shooting from Magpul PR2 class sessions in...
1. People who walk away from a fully loaded bar, and don't re-rack their plates. Selfish shits. (I'm surprised this seems to be a new one in the thread) 2. Supersetters. Especially when they tie up the only power rack and/or vertical support bench in the whole (tiny) gym. 3. People that...
Best bang for the buck (time wise esepcially): The Big 3 Routine | RippedBody.jp Not a bodybuilder routine, focus on just getting strong everything else will follow.
That's consistent with my advice: spend your money to get as much quality as possible in your basic scope elements (excellent reticle, turrets, glass, overall robustness and longevity), eliminating "frills" (FFP, zero-stops, brakes, ...) first. For milling, I've found no issues using my NXS...
If you want to gain muscle, work with weights. Cardio is good for some things, but gaining or retaining muscle mass is not one of them (once your quickly adapted to the minimal stress it put on you system). My advice (worth every penny paid)? Read articles and books by Mark Rippetoe .As a...
At the PR1 class in Yakima this May there were two of the guys from Proof tuning up their skills on their full platform, in-house rifles. Those sticks, plus the full complement that Caylen utilized in the class (a 6.5CM, 300WM, and a 308) really shined. His 6.5CM was another full Proof build...
Run your numbers through a ballistic computer. Look at the holdover you'll need for ~1500yds. I imagine you're well in the ballpark with the native 120MOA internal. Remember, its a 308. Past something like 1200 the wind is a BITCH (you'll need to know the exact speeds to within 1/2 mph...
Just use the left window to "mil" the target in MOA, and read you values from that slide like it's target size, and read the (angle dependant) range on the right slider (left side). Play with it a bit, you'll see.
Yeah, if you're hell bent on new give Mile High a call (specifically a call, not an email or PM) and have a chat about how to track one down. They're great and will treat you right. Otherwise, hunt here on the forums for used AWs. Just buy what you find for a song and get new stocksides in...
You say your opinion clearly stated as such, as suggested. The follow up secret is to not act like a total wiener with other people with more experience and data come into the conversation and make you feel bad about your lovely scope choice.
