    Thanks a lot for the advise.I know monolithics are a bit overkill for springbok.the only reason I wanna use something really strong is if I encounter bushpig I must be able to take them out also,don't wanna zero scope everytime I switch loads like my 30-06.

    I am thinking of using the 85gn Barnes TSX because of hunting purposes.I'm not sure if barnes makes anything heavier than 85gn or if its wise to go over 85gn bullets.we use 'somchem' powder in south africa so I'll have to chech your 'IMR' powder with our equivalent.
