Yes I am using the correct insert. Its for .260 the 5-26. The problem I was getting was reading the caliper dial. The hundredths/thousandths dial doesnt cross zero. Exactly on the tenths digit on the slide. When at approximately 0.4 inches on the slide, that's where my zero is on the dial. So as...- top_shotta

Really? That could be why! I bought the hunting ones. I would assume the previous owner used may have been using target vlds since this was his match rifle. I think i should find out. Thank you BobinNC!- top_shotta

So I just picked up a Remington 700 in 6.5 Creedmoor. The guy I bought it from told me that the Jammed ogive measurement of 140 berger vlds should be 2.160 - 2.180. His last measurement was 2.165. And he loads them for a jump of 0.040 which would give a 2.125 ogive. The problem I am having...- top_shotta
