NEW From Zermatt Arms - RimX Actions

The RimX is a very well made action. This conversion won’t be for everyone and that’s fine and is not the purpose . A lot of people like the idea of a Vudoo with a RimX mag. I more like the idea of a RimX as the base. I just took the things I liked the most from both and put them together to...

    Question about.22lr competition build

The only way I do much different is if it’s for sure an Eley only chamber. Most people don’t want to be tied down to that though. I ask for that purpose and to know what is best pertinent to test with on the particular rifle. If you see a 22LR-B after the logo engraving that is the designation...

Rim X failure to Fire update

First, make sure the set screws have not come loose in the cocking piece somehow and that the pin has not backed out. Your measurement should be much more and it’s either that or a bad mismatch of cocking piece to trigger if accurate. I’ve got plus .01, .02, and .03 cocking pieces. Feel free to...

Rim X failure to Fire update

What trigger is it, and how much pinfall do you have? Or maybe easier ballpark, how much does the pin stick out the back of the shroud when cocked?

    New Rimfire Project 2500x/Mullerworks/BnA

No real complaints so far. I did have to adjust the joystick. It would move slightly right after stopping on a bull. Once tightened it stopped. I’ve got the rubber padded feet for use on a concrete bench.

    New Rimfire Project 2500x/Mullerworks/BnA

I’d talk to Paul about turning that one to .900 before doing it. I’ve got a lot of .900s and sporters on order plus a truckload of 1.180s. If I get a surplus .900 I’ll let you know. I also have a bunch of 1” coming from Benchmark soon.

    New Rimfire Project 2500x/Mullerworks/BnA

I just had him do mine. He did a great job. I’m going to be having Jim Peightal do some flat tops for me soon so I’ll have plenty of work to do on them myself so I had Randy handle this one. You’ll like the 2500

It was 12 weeks from Randy when I got mine. It’s worth the wait.

    CZ 457

Sorry guys they went quick this time. When I get blanks in I split up between the custom orders, (CZ/Vudoo/Rimx/Bergara) and the site to keep a couple methods of getting them. Anyone can feel free to give me a call to discuss. I typically get these blanks monthly I'm just never sure how many it...

Who To Build Me A RimX?

Thanks guys for the mentions and kind words. What started for me with 40Xs has turned into quite the rimfire journey. We ended up with two Vudoos, a Bergara, and a RimX in the top 10 in Italy. We’ve been very fortunate to get rifles in the hands of such good shooters. Look out for some exciting...

Vudoo Gun Works V-22 Rimfire Bolt Action

Rob is correct on all accounts. There is nothing wrong with a Gen1. I like them. There is nothing any more difficult about them.

Tuner question for guys with 1.2” or heavier straight contour barrels.

I’m not sure I can say better in my experience. They’ve both accomplished making the groups more round. Neither are miracle workers though. I see them make good, better. If done properly I don’t think you’re hurting anything with either one. It needs to not end up being a distraction though or...

Tuner question for guys with 1.2” or heavier straight contour barrels.

I’ve done a lot of these Rob with V1s on 1.25s and V2s on both 1.200 and 1.25 straights. They don’t respond like a .900 straight barrel but I have been able to get the groups more round. I like a direct install for either with no adapter.

NEW From Zermatt Arms - RimX Actions

Thanks guys for the kind words. Dennis, I’ve got two English Pointers I’m sure would like to make a trip to Kansas to chase some prairie chickens or quail. It’d be great to shoot with you guys too. Of course y’all are all welcome out here too. The original issue here was a tool mark seen...

NEW From Zermatt Arms - RimX Actions

There are a lot of things at play here. Some within my control, and some not being this is not a direct customer. That said I’m sorry you had issue and given the opportunity I’m sure between me and/or Fred things can be resolved. I 100 percent stand behind anything that comes out of this shop...

Vudoo Gun Works V-22 Rimfire Bolt Action

Just to clarify something said in the above post, the chamber I’m currently using most is not a JGS Match. Although based on it, it is different in almost all dimensions. I’ve only ever chambered a few rifles with a standard JGS match reamer. There are reasons I prefer different. Carry on……
