I have a Leupold Mk 4 4.5-14x50mm LR/T w/M1 turrets (MOA, numbered and marked really well) and TMR reticle on my 308 Win. I don't use the scope/reticle for ranging or anything, just use the crosshairs. It's zeroed at 100 yds. I'm 4" low at 200 yds., so I dial up 2 MOA (8 clicks). I'm 15"...
I can speak about the Calvin Elite, never used one. I/we have a few 510 triggers. Mine are set at 2 pounds, my wife's is set at 4 pounds. No complaints. Good luck, NYH1.
As already mentioned the Remington 700 BDL comes with iron sights. Although I took the iron sights off mine and put a scope on it, it's a laser. Good luck, NYH1.
Is THIS a good stock? How much work will be needed to make my barreled action fit in it? I want a stock that looks and feels kind of like a factory looking stock. Obviously it's going to have a larger barrel opening. Thanks again guys, NYH1.
