New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
I'd be down for that. But I absolutely want wired over BT or any other wireless option first. Connector wise, with enough "want" you can have the connector at whatever position you want. Hell we have someone here who makes switches with different connectors.
Biggest downside of the Impact (aside from not working when it's mildly chilly outside lol) is a wireless remote. My favorite thing is to spend whole nights wondering around in the dark constantly checking to see if I lost my switch (I haven't lost one yet, but the fear is always there).
I'd like to know how they manage good returns with a 950nm laser in rain and fog. I practically only shoot at night in NW FL and nothing in the 900nm range has been able to punch fog/rain on bad nights when a 1550 still can.
I'm not saying it won't, but I haven't seen anything less than the...
This is something I legit would like to learn how it's done. trial and error has been my go to method lol. But it's landed rounds on target at 912yd on deer.
@CGambrel do you still have this "6.5 bartlein 20" ss barrel for a terminus zeus qc"?
I tried to send a PM but couldn't. I saw you posted it in another WTB thread.
Personally, the 15k is what I'll be going with. I see zero point in spending more than an Impact 4000 for a laser that does the same thing with the same down sides (905 laser that sucks in adverse conditions) vs the 15k and the ability to cut through rain/fog/humidity far better than the...
So showing that I'm completely new when it comes to bolt guns, does the stiller offer anything over a factory rem 700 LA? That's what I currently have, I'm just trying to sort out what I don't even know at this point.
Is the Stiller Tac 300 lacking any specific features over any other actions? From researching, I saw someone used a Still Tac 300 and just "milled" out part of the chassis to access the switch lug. While they said "milled" it looked like a hack job but still means it could be done cleaner, and...
Does anyone know of an action that has quick change like the Zeus, but doesn't have a built-in rail? I'm looking specifically for a long action rem 700 foot print to go into a Cadex Feild Tactical Chassis. Ideally so I can swap between 300prc and 6.5cm.
I typically shoot out past 450 on any given night, digital NV or lower quality thermal won't cut it. I shoot for farmers over crops and in fields that are large enough that I can shoot out to a mile on some of them (Not that I'm shooting that far....yet lol).
