    I have a 30" Bartlein 1-9 barrel. With the 245 Berger EOL (same loads as the 245 LRHT) I'm loading 81.0 H1000, Lapua case, CCI 34 primers and getting velocities around 2930 seated .070 off the lands with excellent accuracy and consistency.

    Where are all the rifle barrel blanks?

    I’ll chime in with a recommendation for K&P barrrls and LRI. I have two of their barrels that LRI spun up ARC profits and they are both lasers, clean easily and the chambering and threading by LRI are top notch.

    That’s a lot of corrosion, usually indicative of poor maintenance practices, poor storage conditions, corrosive ammonia, etc I’d also suggest cleaning with an abrasive cleaner like JB Bore Paste and seeing how it shoots. Sometimes barrels that look bad still shoot well.

    Vortex 2025?

    I still own the 2 Vortex AMG 6-24s that I bought years ago. Still some of my favorites and one of them is on my NRL Hunter rifle. Great scopes. The only thing lacking was a 2nd turn indicator which led me to miss 10mils high on a match stage- very embarassing and a mistake I never made again.
