That is one heavy barrel. Pretty good looking pattern on it though. Sent from my GT-S6810P using Tapatalk

An Osprey on an SRS would look pretty awesome. Sent from my GT-S6810P using Tapatalk

Have you looked at the .45 Raptor? .308 necked up to .458... afaik it's straight walled. But so is the .510 Whisper / 12.7x48. Sent from my GT-S6810P using Tapatalk

Close enough :P First time I've seen one of those on a bolt action rifle. Sent from my GT-S6810P using Tapatalk

Looks to me like a Surgeon 591 in a KMW Sentinel with Spuhr mount for the optic (I don't recognize that, though), and an Atlas bipod. Sent from my GT-S6810P using Tapatalk

Yeah, I recognized it. That, but maybe also before it does. Probably not a noticeable difference, but I'm just curious :) A thread protector would protect the threads as well, and so would a brake. Might be interesting to see the differences. Sent from my GT-S6810P using Tapatalk

Wouldn't a three-pronged flash hider increase vibrations? Awesome rifle either way! Sent from my GT-S6810P using Tapatalk

    ELR rifle pics

I can imagine the 28" MTU being rather heavy, yes. But good luck with your 2500 yards shooting! I want one as well, though I think mine would be less practical, since I'd get it built on a BAT EX 2" action, with already heavy barrel with Teludyne SBJ, in an XLR chassis, and with a USO SN-9 if...

Quite nice. The optic is a Vortex, isn't it? And which components will you use for the .375? Sent from my GT-S6810P using Tapatalk

Similar to the probably fairly well known "precision rifles... show em" thread, but then focused on ELR. So what is everyone here using for their ELR shooting? :)

I don't think any LRI builds have ever failed to be awesome. Great looking rifle! Sent from my GT-S6810P using Tapatalk

You are probably right... I shouldn't post while half asleep next time xD Either way, that does seem to solve the biggest issue with switchbarrels. Now they should probably add labels somehow, so you won't accidentally pick the 300 gr Berger load data for your 300 gr SMK load. I was actually...

Seems quite useful, but I can imagine the remote being a nuisance. I also think adding negative values would come at a cost (either performance or range wise), since that means switching from unsigned (0-255 for a single byte) to signed (-128 - 127, I believe, might depend on the implementation)...

Silly question, perhaps, but what is that small object mounted in front of the front scope ring? The one with the cable sticking out. Sent from my GT-S6810P using Tapatalk

Nice rifle. I read a few days ago about someone who used a .223 (with 28" barrel, firing 80 grain AMAX bullets, can't remember the powder, but still have the link) and got accurate hits at almost a mile. Here it is: http://www.longrangehunting.com/articles/shooting-223-mile-1.php Sent from my...

That's actually pretty close to a build I'd want too. Though I'd build mine on MATEN upper and lower, and probably in 6XC instead. I really like the low recoil, high rate of fire idea, not sure why, it's not very practical for anything I'd do with it. Sent from my GT-S6810P using Tapatalk
