    Thanks for the ideas tomcat. How did you use the shims? Did you put them under the butt plate? Any others ideas out there? I would like to be able to quickly change the length of pull in the field as I take the best position for the situation at hand.

    Gunsmithing Savage Accustock Grip Mod

    I came up with an inexpensive mod to my Accustock to improve my trigger hand position. I shaped a wooden mold block to create the new profile and molded a piece of 1/8" Kydex to create the new grip. The grip taco is attached with two black oxide connector bolts. .
