I would like to add a Badger Ordnance bolt knob to my Remington 700 .300 WM (and also the same in 0.223). Atop each I have a NXS with their own "cattail". Anyone have this setup, I am wondering of the Badger knob will hit the cattail or clear it. The larger one they sell to retrofit older scopes...

I have not. But we have some good shooters in our SWAT team. Surely some of them are into long range shooting. Great idea!

Don’t think that. I do believe you about the wind, I know there is far more I don’t know, especially what’s going on way above the water. I do appreciate the advise. That pick was on another day, but I do agree there could have been winds where the bullet was traveling on the day I was shooting.

For those of you that know, which certainly is not me. Vertical spread shows the velocity of my reloads is constant? Two distinct groups means cheek position changed? I have no idea what order they were.

Without having to search, which I am inept at anyway, can someone tell which of the .223 supressors are rated for a 7.5" upper. I know most are 10.5", as is my G5, but my boss really wants one for his 7.5". A QD is preferable.

I finally got my Gemtech G5. I got it mainly for my bolt gun but would also like to run some .22 thru it. I have been told it will dirty it up, but a few .223 rounds will clean it out just fine. Has anyone had experience with this, is it accurate?
