M60 vs M240 vs M249
Used both the M60 and the M60E3 in the Corps and was a SAW gunner (M249) for a time. I liked the M60 over the E3 even though it was heavier. Yep. Was at an outdoor range with a buddy (an off duty cop) and a couple of shady looking guys were there and it looked more l Iike they were casing us than shooting. Then they left the range and headed to their cars ahead of us. We made a point of carrying our loaded ARs in the open on our way...- paramarine

I go with 12 for each rifle (not each caliber but each rifle) and am also planning to buy a case of 100 pmags just "in case". Like others have said, it would be a shame if I gave a bunch of rifles to my kids but they had to spend a small fortune to get mags (like I do now for my BM-62). FWIW I...- paramarine

Should I Keep my PPU 145 grain ammo or sell it?

Rifle Scopes Anodizing Larue Rings?
I'm buying some of Larue's xtra low rings to mount my Leupold Mark 4 3-10 on my LRB M25. I'm thinking about having them anodized in FDE to match the scope. Has anyone here had their rings anodized before? Or will doing so adversely affect accuracy? I KNOW I can have them painted...- paramarine
