Stupid Question: Does the AT mag have a removable bottom plate?

Nice. I didnt get that just the mag in a box from creedmor sports. The twist...that must be the key thanks. So easy to load I think I need to widen the feed lips to get the rounds a little higher

Stupid Question: Does the AT mag have a removable bottom plate?

looks like one piece so everything goes in from the top...thanks. Just seems like it's got to bend a lot to go bad, but fixed.

Stupid Question: Does the AT mag have a removable bottom plate?

I was messing with the mag cause it won't feed worth a $hit and apparently I disassembled it. Looks like the bottom is one piece - is it or is the bottom plate removable? Cause I cant seem to put this back together...

    Cleaning rod

Not to me. I bought a fancy bore tech guide rod with that plastic piece for the patches. Thing is so F'n long that I had to buy another, longer rod...straight to Dewey

    AW mag feeding issues.

I bought an AW mag for a new Zeus action. This is exactly what I experienced. Bolt just rode over the top of the rounds. Total bummer cause loading rounds is such a breeze. I’ll try stretching the spring like you say. Thanks for the tip

New build - first non factory

Absolutely. I've had Remingtons (that one honestly wasnt a sub moa gun) but a couple savages and the ruger RPR were. None of them ever fit perfectly though. My barrel was going south on the RPR and didnt feel like spending money on a new barrel for it because of all the reasons you stated. Made...

New build - first non factory

Thanks. I hope the limiting factor is the guy behind the rifle, not the rifle itself. I think the better ergos, better barrel, and a more solid platform will result in more consistency and more first round hits at distance.

New build - first non factory

Just finished it, no time to shoot yet. I'm going to be severely disappointed if this doesn't shoot a lot better than the 6.5CM Ruger RPR it's replacing. Terminus Zeus MDT ACC Elite Bartlein 26" 6.5CM 1:7.5 by SPR 419 brake with suppressor mount Cykepod Gen 2 Razor 4.5 - 27 that I've been...

Anyone using the ARC m-brace mount with a hd 4.5-27?

I’m in the market for a scope mount. I have a perfectly good working HD gen II 4.5-27 that I plan on using on a new build. Question: is the thickness of the mount hindering your ability to see the turrets?

    Chasing lands

interesting, but if you look at the garmin all those cases were from the same batch of 200 pieces all 3x fired and annealed.

    Chasing lands

The difference in velocity is causing all my calculations to be off past 1000. I forget if it was 1100 or 1250 today but I had to dial up another .7 mil which I've never had to do. I know the barrel is getting worn which is fine.

    Chasing lands

Same as it's alway been. Anneal, size w/ redding FL busing die, .002 neck tension, tumble, chamfer / deburr. Rarely trim as the Lapua cases don't stretch much.

    Chasing lands

So my 6.5CM has about 1800 rounds through it and the velocity has been decreasing lately. Same brass/primer/powder. With the Hornady 140 ELDM the CBTO was 2.258 and I was seating .020 off, or 2.238. It’s been a very accurate load. Today I measured and the CBTO was 2.293 or .035 difference...

Nice. Def a fan of IWC. I wear the top gun (44.5) the most. The size is perfect.
