My dad has a nice L42a1 setup. Only issue is that he's missing the appropriate NV scope that would have been issued with it at sometime in the rifles life. He's been looking for years and hasn't unearthed one yet. With the recent passing of my mother, I'd like to find him one and give it to him...

I fiddled with the same thoughts. I went ahead and bit the bullet an bought a GAP crusader. The gun will out shoot me by far, but I can learn into it and not have to worry about building/selling a gun that won't meet any new needs.

Got an email today for final payment and FFL info saying my crusader is done. Almost exactly two weeks from when I placed the order. Don't know if I'm lucky or called the right time. But I'm super excited.
