    That would depend on finding someone to anodize them to a different color and which reticle and models you have imho. Lots of variables to consider.

    No . I’m told that the left side bolt feed rail was modified . That’s why I asked. Maybe I misunderstood but that is what I understand.

    What was the purpose of the left side feed rail being cut back on the Original M40? Anyone have a picture of what it looks like? I just found out on the facebook page it was cut back due to rounds not going into the magazine box properly.

    Well we all have our opinions don’t we? I know and have plenty of experience with that type of base as well as many others. I have never heard of anyone having issues with it. To be fair I’m not in a combat situation so that probably make a difference. js

    He did confirm 40x’s were the original prototype actions and sporter weight barrels. He stated it just a few days ago on the Facebook M40 Enthusiasts page !

    From my research the windage screw slots should not be cut completely through the base.
