Update: the issue with sticking cases was solved with the Redding imperial die wax. Redding said something about the larger PRC case design makes them prone to sticking in the die. I had tried numerous brands of die lube that all failed, imperial was the solution.

I agree on starting with RL23 for the shorter barrel. Retumbo and RL26 would be the next recommendation but would expect the slower burn rate in a short tube would lead to larger ES' as I suspect you wouldn't get a complete burn.

They do work with the Sinclair die, I'm using them. The 21st Century mandrels are slightly tighter in the Sinclair die than the Sinclair mandrel, touch of lube and slides right in--'bout like prom night.

I wonder why they haven't expanded the Mark 8 line to compete with the Schmidt 5-45 and NX8 4-32? Not complaining, but they already have a rock solid 8x erector design, seems like an easy jump.

I haven't ever used BL-C2, so I'm not familiar with where it would fall amongst the recommended powders. I probably won't try any other powders at this point on this barrel since I have plenty of components delivering results.
