    Thank you both very much. When I called in to Sako after waiting over an hour on hold, the customer service representative (while very kind) was very unfamiliar with the rifle and was of no help to remedy the issue.

    I bought the rifle second hand. It had a spigot attached which I removed because I wanted to use the factory bipod. The latch doesn’t seem to engage -at all- to secure the bipod to the rifle. Am I missing anything glaringly obvious?
