Oh wow, really? Yea i had the barrel resting on the holes of the fence. ......feel like such a noob. Can you tell me why thats bad?

Need some info about bullet trajectory and the like. Will ask her just incase someone knows. So i was shooting my bolt-action .243 rifle earlier. A Remington 770 Youth Edition. I was shooting at 6 different targets at about 100 yards. I was using a chainlink fence as a 'mount'. I had to...
