    Sidearms & Scatterguns Fireclean or Froglube?

    Froglube sells a product for degreasing but I just use good old 91% Isopropal Alcohol because I have it on hand and it works great/evaporates fast. From my understanding Simple Green can be mildly corrosive and is not good for use on guns as well as a lot of other things.

    This is how I apply it and am pretty sure how it was originally meant to be done. That's why they talked about wiping off all excess and it soaking out of the metal pores. I think most leave to much on (not even just with Froglube really) and if you have to much excess the fouling can build up...
