Thanks for the input and advice. I ended up purchasing the new Bushnell 3-12x44 LRHS. It gives a little more magnification just to be on the safe side. We'll see how close I can get to my next Coues without spookin it. Congrats on your Coues buck!- HUNTW4S

Those Kimbers are hard to beat for the money. Best compromise between price and quality. Check out STI as well. I shot my buddies STI Trojan the other day and was pretty impressed. Dawson Precision has a good offering of the STI with upgrades to boot.- HUNTW4S

Yeah, it would be awesome to buy scopes in pairs. I appreciate your advice as this will be my first hunting rifle.
