    7-6.5 PRC

That's awesome! I'm almost sure that I heard the Hornady guys talking about it on their podcast either about the 6.5 PRC or the 7 PRC, likely the latter. I think they were in a different mindset when developing the 7 PRC so that's an understandable but disappointing oversight. Either way...

    7-6.5 PRC

I had thought hornady had already tested the 7mm in the 6.5 PRC case? What's the purpose of this latest test?

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

Yeah, the brass is .0065" short of the go gauge. The chamber is cut +.003". The only reason I ask is because I was told second hand that someone else with an ARC was having this issue. Its not a knock on ARC or the CDG. Just trying to get all the info I can.

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

I'm having some ignition issues with lapua 300 Norma mag brass and CCi 250s. I've heard that others may be having issues too? I'll keep doing what I can on my end but I was curious if this was common for either the CDG or lapua brass? Virgin to once fired brass grows about .009-.010" CBTO so...

    300 Norma Mag

That's kinda what I though with the tolerance stacking. I cut the chamber but didn't think it was long but the numbers don't lie.

    300 Norma Mag

It's a trigger tech special in an American rifle company CDG, it's got the trigger hanger so timing is easy to adjust.

    300 Norma Mag

Was hoping to get some help diagnosing my Norma build. I've got 18 rounds down the pipe and 2 light primer strikes. The firing pin channel did have a tiny bit of crap in it so I cleaned that out. Headspace: Zeroed on go-gauge Fired brass +.003" Virgin brass -.0065" Primers are seated...

    Shot show 2024

Gotcha, I took it wrong. I was thinking sizing vs. Decapping, mandrel, bullet seating. Another SHOT item that seems cool is the new Foxtrot Mike AR barrels that are machined from one piece of metal. That's barrel extention, gas block and some kind of keymo mount. Rifling goes as far as it can...

Maybe I miss understood what he meant by, "the shell holder and the die are not under any pressure, unless you're sizing brass" that's at 0:40. I'm not sure what else he could have meant though.

    Shot show 2024

In the 'bolt action reloading' video I'm pretty sure he mentions screwing the die down to touch the shell holder when sizing.

I guess that means we've all gotta go be poor somewhere else.

Has the new ZCO MPCT 1X reticle been mentioned? These are screen shots from an interview.

I could see this for some of the bigger PRS matches. But I agree, personal use I like the flashy ones. I like the shorter forend but I'm pretty happy with my standard ACC. I was hoping they'd have a new Gen for the ESS.

Seemed to meet like the 6 o'clock lug would contact first. Can you post pictures when you get a chance?

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

Was the headspace gauge to base of cone always .147"? Or is that an updated measurment with the updated extractor? I noticed on mine there was some rubbing at 6 o'clock but I haven't had time to really look. I hit the 0.147 on the nose. That said, the 6 o'clock lug is square and not coned so...

    Primary Arms Discovery 2024

Not bad. The upside down christmas tree is new. Better than the chevron for sure. I'll keep poking around to see if there is a blown up view.

    ARC Coup de Grace Builds

Simplest way I can say it: the action feels a lot like a Seekins PH rifle, Absolutely zero cock on close which makes it feel much more expensive. The travel is more "creamy" than "buttery". It's a little odd running the bolt all the way back waiting for the hard stop but it never happens. I'll...
