175's point is there is a lot less variables at 100 or 200 yds than 1000 yds. With that being said it is far more difficult to shoot sub moa at 1000 yds than 100 yds because of the added variables( wind,mirage, wind,wind, and wind)

I am sorry for the stupid question but the ptg drop in is an m5 inlet, correct? That is different than the rem factory bdl from what i gather. On ptg web site it says m5 but midway says drop in. What am i missing? Sorry to hijack

I had the burris p.e.r.p. for a while. It was well built for the price but it was very heavy and bulky and it was a little high for me.

If you are happy with vortex i would go with a sfp pst or hs.

I have a rifle basics on mine. It is better than the x mark but i would probably get something else next time around.

My .243 sps varmint shoots great with h4350 and 87 gr bergers.

I love my labs. They dont really fit the bill of a guard dog but the are extremely loyal and protective of family. They are great around kids and do really well indoors and out. A german sheaperd would be another good option. I have never had one but have met some great ones Good luck

I also have the sps varmint .243 and it eats the 87 grain bergers. The 95 grainers shoot ok but i think it struggles to stabilize them also. Not that you were asking...lol

I would save a little money and look at spi or fowler. Either would be plenty good for checking neck thickness. Mitutoya is great quality and will last forever but imho it is a little overkill for checking neck thickness. Either way a unimic with a ball attachment or a round pin would do you...

I have a 6- 24 and like the extra magnification. Another thing to keep in mind is the 4-16 is nearly 2 in shorter if size and weight is a factor.
