Well you guys were right about a few things. The barrel has in fact, sped up a little. A very mild load showed 2900 avg for 5 shots, then the chrony went bad. Lol. I'm pretty sure the readings were bad. But the grouping and testing is coming along. Hopefully I'll be done with it by the end of...
Not sure about the availability on the Bergers. I had some stashed that came with my wife's f class rifle that I had never used she shoots Lapua Scenars. It was just a coincidence that I had them and so many. Gotta make it work, for a while anyway. QUOTEE="jhern19, post: 8192089, member...
Ok guys, after reading several posts about laddering my loads etc. I decided to give it a try. But some observations and questions. This is for a 6.5 Creedmoor Masterpiece Arms PMR I'm using H4350 and Berger 140 VLDs. I started with this 38.9 =2631fps 39.1=2651 fps 39.3=2669 fps 39.5=2683 fps...
I've shot Hornady 140 match. (About 1/4 moa for 5 rounds) .272 inches. But discovered I had 600 Berger 140 vlds stashed away so trying to work up a load now. It's a shooter with the right ammo. Used S&B for break-in. It didn't like those at all
Well the PMR came in much earlier than expected. I got it out to the range today for break in. Somehow in all my crap, I don't have a Harris bipod adapter although I own at least 5 Harris bipods! I borrowed one with a rail mount just to make it easier cleaning. It was loose and not the best...
Hi guys. I'm new to the PRS shooting. I want to shoot all the matches I can in 2020. I should be ready by January 1st Here's my question; If I sign up for the Regional membership, can I still shoot in the two day pro series matches?
The owner did pass years ago. After that his son, John Williams III took it over and ran the ship. He's a helluva good guy. I know the new b series etc is under someone else running the company. I'm not sure if JWIII still owns it or not, but the website says they are still made in the USA...
Actually I think they're better today than 20 years ago. I often have ammo today that will actually match the velocity the manufacturer advertise. 20 years ago, you could shave some off almost all ammo. Some of it was pretty significant
