Gunsmithing Finishing Scope Mounting Hole
Hi all, I just tried to attach a scope mount to my Remington 700 and the most forward mounting hole is unfinished. There is a small ridge of material left in the bottom of the hole which doesn't allow the scope mount screw to travel far enough to seat the mount. Will a bottoming tap strip...- libertydude
