    ruger american rimfire

    I like the idea of sharing mags with the 10/22, the iron sights are good, and the adjustable comb is kind of nice. I don't think (from what I've seen) that is as accurate as the Savage or the Marlin which cost $100 less. All I can say is for $150, I am very impressed with the accuracy of the xt-22.

    I would, hands down, choose the VTR. Stainless or not is up to you, but there is always a trade off with either choice.
