    Suppressors Baffle and Endcap Concentricity

I wouldn't start replacing components without getting the barrel checked first. If you're going to drop money on another FH I think a better investment would be on a gunsmith with a lathe.

    Suppressors Baffle and Endcap Concentricity

It appears to be an LWRC and a surefire socom. If I'm correct I haven't heard of LWRC having any barrel concentricity issues and Surefire makes quality suppressors. That being said I would check the FH is indexing off of the barrel threads and not the shoulder. If it's indexing off the...

    Suppressors Supressed Ruger 22 pistols

Older ruger 22/45. Modified the frame so I could put the hogue wrap around 1911 grips and replaced the front sight with a fiber optic. On the end is my AAC EVO 9. About a year ago I took the can apart so it could be cleaned. The EVO 9 is quieter than my YHM mite even though it's a larger bore.

    SBR'd bolt actions?

Yes you have to pay a one time tax of $200 per stamp. In this case one stamp for the SBR another for the silencer. I'd recommend the 223 over the 243 in the shorter barrel but that's just my opinion. In Arizona I'm almost positive you can own a SBR. ***Double check state laws before...

    Suppressors First .308 Suppressor Design

More baffles. You're trying to "shave" as much of the gasses away from the bore as possible. The two ways you can accomplish this is with great machining in the form of tight tolerances and length. There comes a point of diminishing returns so I think your overall length it GTG. Stuff more...

    Suppressors First .308 Suppressor Design

Stay away from aluminum baffles. Also K's are a great design but don't work very well with high pressure rounds. Not saying they can't withstand the blast, just not as effective as say a cone baffle. Also I would loose the diffuser before the blast baffle. It works great on low pressure...

    Suppressors FPS suppressor boost

The last time I used a chronograph it was with in 25 fps or less with super sonic ammo. Knowing that subsonic has lower chamber pressures I would imagine it would be less of a spread. Not sure of your location but as long as you could keep it around 1k fps you should be good to go.

Suppressors Rookie Question about AAC and adaptors

AAC Mk-13 SD. The only issue is you couldn't use it on the 5.56. It's proprietary muzzle brake is threaded for 5/8x24 and M18x1 and M18x1.5. It also uses the 90T ratchet mount that locks up pretty solid. I'd give Silencer Co a call and ask them about their new Harvester. It's a direct...

    New member from Ga

Hey I'm from Atlanta. Counter intuitive to be from Atlanta and like to shoot long range but I am an avid outdoor enthusiast and enjoy firearms immensely. It started with archery years ago and I transitioned to firearms when I was introduced to suppressors by a close friend approximately 10...

    Suppressors carbon deposits on brake

PPE New to the forum but here are my recommendations for removing carbon build up. Many years ago with carburetors on most small block V8's (before the days of port fuel injection) to clean the carbon and gunk off of the intake and intake valves one would allow the engine to warm to...
