    6mm-223 ?

    Anyone ever heard of necking up a .223 case to use a .243 bullet? I saw someone at the range today who had a custom varmint rig and his brass was stamped .223 but he said he necks it up to 6mm to use heavier bullets or something. he was a bit of a crabby old guy who didnt seem to want to talk...
