    deprime 408 Chey-Tac case

How are you guys depriming your 408 Chey-Tac brass ? I have heard of some guys just taking a punch and driving out the primer. Or are you using custom dies with a deprimer pin ?

Do you de-prime before you do your first cleaning?

I've been sizing and depriming before cleaning my brass in the tumbler. Should I tumble and clean before this step? Or is that just adding an extra step. I guess it comes down to the issue of whether I should resize "dirty" brass. Thanks

Easiest way to deprime military brass?

What is the easiest way to deprime military 5.56 and 7.62? I bought a punch that you can use to remove the primers with, but it seems like all I do when I use it is knock holes in the primer...and the primer won't come out. thanks
