    Defiance scope rail torque settings? Loctite?

    My defiance tenacity action came to me with a sticker on the box that said “picitanny rail is torqued to 20 in/lbs and NO loctite applied” I’m getting mixed answers on how tight the screws are supposed to be torqued, and also , is it necessary to remove rail and put blue loctite on the screws...

    Tourq question.

    Ive got a rem700 that I need to tourq into my mcrees chassis, the base and scope into rings. Should I take it to a gunsmith or is this something I can do with vehicle tourqe renches that are in inch pounds?
