    State Assembly Bill 416 seeks to aggressively expand on the state's existing public health laws, allowing health officials working with law enforcement to IMMEDIATELY detain anyone suspected of carrying a communicable disease or had contact with someone carrying said disease, and relocate them to a detention facility until a judge have deemed them "safe" for release. Yes you read that correctly. In the middle of nursing a baby when the state's agents come knocking? "Put the baby down and come with us". "But, what about my baby, who is going to take care of her???", you object. "SHUT UP AND COME ALONG, or get the Taser"... No due process. No specific reason stated. A person can be detained on mere 'suspicion' or 'engaging in behaviors' that are deemed to put them at risk of exposure. Detainees can be held for up to 2 weeks before actually seeing a judge and judges can rule detention periods up to 90 day stretches, allowing for indefinite detention.

    The developments surrounding this bill has not received any MSM coverage since it's discovery on New Years Eve. Only a direct search of "Assembly bill 416" will yield the official government page regarding the bill. Complete media blackout. Only coverage of A416 is on the major gun forums, which has now resulted in subsequent Twitter reposts. Attention is growing slowly, but not nearly fast enough.

    They didn’t stop there. So you already are limited to 7 rounds or less.     All jokes and bravado aside, unless the population is completely disarmed this is only inviting disaster. After the first couple of Joe's taken off the street, if LE isn't shot in the first place, it won't take long for the average person to start fighting back and actively going after the police and judges, whether on or off the clock.

    You'd think LE would start putting two and two together and notice the politicians are putting them needlessly in harms way and stand against this bill but, nope. I'll also say it might get the fence sitters off the fence and see reality for what it is. I'm also willing to bet it this bill will only cause a greater divide in this nation if this goes through and spreads to the rest of the country.

    Im really surprised the people that write and sign these bills live among us? Like they have a home and families somewhere in some neighborhood? They drive the same streets, shop at the same stores. Or do they?

    No, they don't. It is the Democrats tyranny of the majority, mostly from NYC, who are forcing this garbage on the rest of the state.

    The sponsor, Perry, is from East Flatbush in Brooklyn. May it be his constituents who are the first to the detention facilities. After all, he's already taken away their right to bear arms, so they can't fight back. Plus- they elected him so they are all good with this- right?

    New York's legislative gambit is to pass clearly unconstitutional laws and then run them through the court system. Since all the lower courts and most appellate courts are stacked with their political acolytes, they always rule with the tyranny in Albany and run the clocks for as long as they can. Then, as you saw with the NYC 2A case, they make minor adjustments to try and make the case moot at SCOTUS. The game is that when New York infringes again, the plaintiffs have to start the process all over again.

    This is what tyranny and a corrupt court system looks like.

    Just remember everything the National Socialists did to the Jews and a great many other undesirables was fully legal.
    The National Socialists were sticklers in some regards to following the law.
    So they just made sure to pass laws that every evil horrific thing they wanted to do was legal
    Then told all the "just following orders" types to "obey the law"..

    This is exactly what is coming here, the American Communist Party Democrats are getting all the laws put into place to make their new horrors all "legal" and so they can count on all the police to "just follow orders" much as we have been seeing this past year.

    Don't hold out for relief from the courts as your hope, the courts are hopelessly compromised. Even the most block headed type would be hard pressed not to learn anything from how the courts did things on Trump's entire presidency and how the entire legal system is making sure the election can be stolen without consequence.

    So the plan is, spend years in a concentration camp and loose everything and maybe just maybe after 20+ years of stalling some court somewhere says, well that wasn't totally nice, but you know people were scared and you know public safety and so on.... we'll ask the government to pretty please not to it again...
    Oh and your imprisonment and violation of your rights, and enslavement and losing everything you owned... well tough it would just be too hard to make that right so you'll understand if we just say FU now get out of here?

    That exact thing has happened more than once in our country in recent history...

    As far as I can tell, they give themselves awards for this kind of shit, so I don't see any indication they will stop loving it. Best case is if this scares the good states enough to stay good.
     
    Look at a red/blue voting map of New York. What you will see is most landmass is red, with the Blue being NYC, Albany and some other small counties. However the population of NYC overrides the rest of the state and forces them under their thumb. This isn't an issue unique to NY and it's coming to a state near you.

    Take a look at your own state, then remember a record number of people are leaving New York and California. A lot of those people leaving, are the people who voted to destroy their state and now they are coming for yours, because they are locusts. Oh yeah, and your state is welcoming them with open arms.

    Like Zumie mentioned... NY is a sea of red outside of the major cities. I spent all but the last five years of my life in that liberal shithole. I moved because:

    A. Taxes were completely out of control
    B. Massive restriction on individual liberties.
    C. Unions pushing prices for consumer goods and utilities through the roof.
    D. We're generally assholes.

    That sea of red is leaving in droves... to the point where NY is leading the nation in population decline. Conservative transplants generally move south and to Arizona, for whatever reason, where their vote may actually count.

    NY is now primed to lose two house seats.

    If the conservatives leave, that's lost tax revenue. How will the state support their excessive spending? We're even starting to see wall street move operations elsewhere. I'm not saying NY will ever be a swing state, but at this rate, their influence over the rest of the country will shrink substantially. That's good news to me.

    NY is going to NY.

    MANY in NYS took the gov as their religion a looong time ago, even the folks north of the dirty city, who hate all the laws, taxes and cuomo, LOVE the prison industry and the “jobs” locking people up for the laws they hate make, paid for with the taxes they bitch about, passed by lord cuomo.

    Its a shame, NY is a great state, landscape wise, too bad about the people who occupy it.

    Nope too many "free stuff" assholes. They are out voting us due to the free shit. Which we all know truly isnt free. Where they dont out vote us, they cheat and rig the system.

    We have more takers then makers in this country at this point. It it was 48% of Americans are paying taxes.

    Why work when you can vote yourself free shit. Those "politicians" will never be voted out due to this.

    If those boys were unarmed the instant they clocked out thier attitude would correct itself quickly.

    For that matter let them follow the same f-ed up rules at work and in particular while they guard politicians.

    The politicians and thier security team should not enjoy any special treatment.
