New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
I have that scope mounted on a 40x 308 with 0 elevation in the base and am in the middle of the scope's elevation range. I have about 75 moa below zero so you should be fine.
How many moa of elevation does your scope have? You can look at the specs or count the moa by turning the turret yourself (this is actually the best way).
You should have 140 min. of total elevation on that scope. You should be able to get that zero without a problem with a 20 moa base. I believe that is the stock setup scope and base on a McMillan Tac-50.

Kevin </div></div> I have the same but with a 20 min. base and it works just fine.
