About 15 years ago i bought a NOS 2 groove replacement barrel for a member of the 03 family. Can't remember which after all those years but I think it was 03a3.
I've got a 03 and a 03a3 receiver I'm getting ready to build and need to figure out which I need to order from CMP.
The barrel I have is so thickly covered in cosmoline it would take a good soak in the parts washer to get to metal. With a quick paper towel wipe i can see no stamping at the receiver end. The thick portion before the barrel tapers is about 1". There is no rear sight base affixed to the barrel.
