I'm wanting a lpvo for a brush gun. Something I can shoot with both eyes open but still have enough magnification to make a little longer shot if needed. Seems like most lpvo's are ffp and the reticles are too much. I'm wanting a simple illuminated duplex with a custom turret. Anything from 1-1.7 on the low end and at least 8 on the high end of magnification. I'd rather not spend 2 grand on the dang thing but I'd like to hear what you guys suggest. Thanks.

add decent eye relief to the mix, 35 whelen is a thumper. My mind immediately went to Swarovski, the old z6i series and the new z8i series (https://cstactical.com/swarovski-z8i-1-7-13-3x42-4a-if-68202/ this with the ballistic flex turret) but that is out of budget unless you go to a used. a lot of lpvo's have exposed turrets, in my mind a covered turret would be a better option for a brush gun, just having the top exposed seems ideal if you want some ballistic compensation. i'm stuck in meetings all day, i'll try to think of some other options.
