1/8 twist for 6mm creedmoor?

Is 1/8 ok for 6cm or is 1/7.5 needed?

1:8 will do just fine for the 105s. I am rockin' a 1:8, and it shoots like a house of fire. If you would be thinking about flinging 115DTACS, then consider the 1:7.5.

Papa is right on. I went with a 7.5 but 8 would do ya just fine.

Yep, yep... I have a 1:8 Krieger on mine and it loves the 105 hybrids.

Tubb says 7.5 or 8 twist barrels shoots equally well with the 115s. Both of mine or 8 twist.

1:7.5-7.75 for 115s is ideal, 1:8 would be fine for 105s

1-8 is perfect for the 105-108 grainers, and if its a cut rifled barrel its 100% good to go even with the 115's Some 1-8 buttoned rifled barrels will work with 115's some will not, its common for buttoned rifled barrels to be a little slower than the stated twist. (IE a 1-8 might actually be a 1-8.5)

George, that's something I was not aware of and very good info to have. Can you explain what it is about the button rifling process that causes this?
