Put a sear on it. I put one on my 77/22 and it made the trigger much better. Night and day difference. I forget who the manufacturer is. I'm sure if you google 77/22 sear you should be able to find ones. Stock ruger triggers are awful.

There are various upgraded sears,triggers,barrels,ect available. Volquartsen and McMillan make after market stocks for the 77/22 but I don't think there's much else out there in the way of aftermarket stocks. I went the home gunsmithing route with my 77/22. It looks awful,but it shoots well and serves it's purpose.
